She missed the noise of life,

When she hid behind her smile.


She could run her fingers over the scars to remember the feeling and it was easy to pull up things that made her heart ache.


Nothing mattered until everything was too big to take in and everything mattered when her soul whispered, “I am dying in here beneath your mind, so let me go, please, let me go.”
